Centrifuge

Centrifuge equipment is generally used in the separation of material due to differences in their specific gravity. A centrifuge machine uses centrifugal force to separate immiscible liquids from suspended solids. Centrifuge equipment uses this differential specific gravity to facilitate the separation. A centrifuge machine can be either of two types - vertical bowl or horizontal pusher. These centrifuge systems are usually continuous in operation. Batch centrifuge machines are also used to separate different materials using very high gravitational forces that are developed with this type of process equipment.
