Description

Used: Prodo Pak Model #PV 215 CSW-4 VERTICAL FORM, FILL, AND SEAL MACHINE. The machine is currently set up in a four across or four up configuration. It forms pouches utilizing a set of platen seal dies. The pouches are filled simultaneously by means of a positive displacement piston metering pump. The machine can run 30-50 cycles per minute. On a 4-up machine this equates to 120-200 pouches per minute. The machine can be run six up. Production rates can be increased with optional equipment to produce additional pouches per machine cycle. Electrical requirements are 220 volt AC, 3 Phase, 60 Cycles, 40 Amps. A pneumatic knife will cut the pouches along the horizontal seal to separate the individual rows of packs. Program changes would allow pouches to be produced in strips.
